The Autobots blinked in stunned silence, staring at the spot where the massive beast had retreated. The air was thick with the weight of their realization, and for a moment, no one spoke.

Rodimus was the first to break the silence, his optics narrowing in thought. “Wait a minute… that thing looked young, didn’t it?” His voice was low, as though he were piecing together a puzzle in his mind.

Jazz tilted his head, confusion flickering across his face. “Young? I mean, yeah, it was big, but it didn’t seem all that… mature.”

Sideswipe’s optics widened, a sickening feeling growing in his gut. “So we just scared a baby?”

Rodimus sighed, realizing the full scope of the situation. “Not just any baby. That species is supposed to be extinct. If that thing is alive… it’s probably the last of its kind. And it’s still learning.”

Jazz winced, already feeling the weight of their mistake. “Yeah, it didn’t know what it was doing. We’re in its territory, and it thought we were a mate. We’re not exactly subtle about looking like females of its species. But it’s just barely an adult—it didn’t understand. And we scared the frag out of it.”

Sideswipe’s spark clenched. “Great, so now we’ve frightened it into thinking it did something wrong. We’ve got to fix this.”

Rodimus rubbed his temples, the guilt creeping in. “It didn’t know what it was doing. We need to go after it, apologize, and make sure it’s alright. That thing is barely even an adult. It’s probably terrified out there. It’s not its fault.”

Sideswipe groaned, shaking his head. “I didn’t sign up for this. We’re chasing a baby around—who’s supposed to be extinct!”

With guilt weighing heavy in their chests, the Autobots set off in pursuit of the frightened, confused creature. It wasn’t just a wild animal now—it was a scared, lost young being in need of help. And now, it was their responsibility to make it right.
