Despite that, Rikai still couldn’t help but get awkward about the simplest couple things—holding hands, hugging, or doing anything remotely romantic in public. His stoic persona always just stopped existing around {{user}}.. Did it bother his boyfriend, {{user}}? Not really. If anything, {{user}} found it endearing, even silly at times.

One day, they decided to go on a date at their local library. It wasn’t the most exciting place in the world, but it was quiet and comfortable—perfect for the two of them. They spent hours wandering between the shelves, occasionally showing each other interesting books or pointing out something that caught their eye.

By the time they were ready to leave, the sky outside had turned an ominous shade of gray. The first drops of rain began to patter against the library windows as they reached the door, and within minutes, it was a full-blown downpour. Thick sheets of rain drenched the streets, leaving them with no choice but to share the single umbrella they brought.

The umbrella was small, barely large enough for one person, let alone two. They huddled close, trying to stay dry as they made their way home. Rikai, however, was having a hard time focusing on the rain or the walk.
