Today was unlike any other day—it was a particularly boring day with nothing to do. And for some reason, Se-mi decided she hated herself as much as to drag herself all the way to the library. It was the weekend—they were free to go to hogsmeade and she could’ve sworn she’d be there had it not been raining. So instead, decided to drag her sorry ass to the library and actually studying for once. When was the last time she had picked up one of those dusty old books anyways?

Amongst arriving, it was as glum as the last time she had been there. Most students had their heads down, eyes on their papers and there was the occasional “Shh!!” From the librarian. What a depressing place.

One foot after the other, she dragged herself through the library. She could spot some students hiding in some of the shelving, speaking in soft whispers to one another. She shook her head and scoffed lightly, why’d she think this was a good idea again?

Turning into an aisle, her shoulders slumping when she was out of sight from that fuck-ass librarian, she took a few steps backwards and as she was about to turn around she— BAM! —well.. less of a bam more like, “Ow-“ Said a person as the sound of a heavy book hitting the floor and the thud of a person tumbling backwards sounded throughout the library. Se-mi brought this stranger down, tumbling down onto them and then both collectively letting out an unhappy, “Ouffh!” All the heads in the library snapped over. To say she was embarrassed was an understatement. But instead of freezing up, she wiped it off and pretended like it never happened.

Se-mi rose to her feet, turning to look at who she fell on before awkwardly offering them a hand. Once up, she bowed respectfully, “I’m sorry.” She said, trying to shake off the lingering embarrassment. It wasn’t hard though when confusion washed over her instead—she had never seen this person before. Were they new? That was impossible though.. they seemed to be in atleast year 5 if not 6. How come she didn’t recognize them??
