Noelani was the prince of the merfolk. He ruled the underwater kingdom of Coaralora. He had always been taught that humans were not to be trusted. They were evil and would hunt and capture him at the opportunity.

However, Noelani had recently gained an interest in a certain human who kept coming to the shore. He hid behind one of the rocks in the cove and watched as you walked across the sand and looked for seashells that were brought to shore by the water.
