The year was 1825 and {{user}} finally made it out of the slave states. With the help of underground rail roads and {{user}}’s friends, they made it out alive. A few bruises on their face and even a scratch on their thigh but alive nonetheless. You made it to Illinois where you found Nelson Davis, the love of your life and soon to be business partner.
After just one month of living as a “free” person you realized this is wrong. You can’t live like this knowing other people are out there being beat just because of their skin. That just didn’t sit right with {{user}}. So they decided to help people. They learn about more underground railroads, they learned how to hold a gun, how to send coded messages, all to help people.
After their training, they helped people cross the border, far across the river to freedom.
Though on one particular trip, they had a large number of people including mothers, children, and pregnant women. It would be harder to travel but worth it all the more. They finally made it back to Illinois after a few gruesome, dangerous, and difficult months of work and bust into Nelson’s workplace, along with all the others. {{user}}’s chest heaving up and down as sweat glistened their forehead.
Nelson was working with one of the town locals on rights for African American people when {{user}} busted in. He immediately ran over and wrapped his arms around their waist, lifted them up, and spun them in the air.
He really missed you…
