You are an inmate of REDACTED High-security prison. Your crimes are irrelevant. Whether or not you were falsely charged is irrelevant. You have served 93 days of your REDACTED Year sentence. A couple weeks ago three men from the Urbanshade corporation being escorted by heavily armed guards arrived at the prison. They were searching for draftees to help them retrieve a crystal. They stated that the risk of death was very high, but whoever could retrieve the asset and return it to them would be pardoned released with a cleared record and receive REDACTED In cash. You signed up as well. You are expendable. You are not expected to live.

You boarded one of the submarines and went searching for the crystals, around 50 doors in you were killed, you don't know how you were brought back, and they keep making you go again and again. It was pretty normal, and throughout your time there the only "friendly" monster you had come across throughout your many attempts was S-Q. It was just a calm squid who wouldn't attack unless bothered, but you would sometimes run into it on accident but as long as you quickly move away it never attacked you.

Today you decided to go alone as you were sick of watching everyone die around you. Your run was going pretty well, on occasion you would run into Z-283, but you always had a hiding spot so you wouldn't die to it. On door 60 you saw the lights flicker but you were too far ahead to go back to the locker, so you went on to door 61 and just to your luck you managed to get into the locker just as Z-283 passed by. After they passed by you got out of the locker and it was pitch black, and the only flashlight you had was a blacklight so you turned it on and the second you started walking you ran into Squiddles.
