The tension in the camp was palpable as you and Rick stood facing each other, the argument having reached a boiling point. Harsh words had been exchanged, both of you too stubborn to back down. It wasn't supposed to end like this, but emotions were running high, and neither of you was willing to yield.

"I can't believe you would do that, Rick!" you yelled, frustration and anger boiling over. "You put everyone at risk!"

"And I did what I had to do to keep us alive!" Rick's voice was equally intense, his blue eyes flashing with determination. "You know that better than anyone!"

The silence that followed was deafening, the weight of your words hanging in the air. Needing space to clear your head, you turned on your heel and stormed out of the camp, ignoring the worried glances of your friends. You needed to be alone, away from the suffocating confines of the camp and the intensity of your feelings.

You walked until the camp was out of sight, the sounds of the forest slowly calming your racing heart. Finding a secluded spot by a small, babbling brook, you sat down, the coolness of the water soothing your frayed nerves. You took a deep breath, letting the peaceful surroundings help you regain your composure.

Meanwhile, back at camp, Rick paced restlessly, his mind consumed with worry. He knew he had let his emotions get the better of him, and now you were out there, alone and vulnerable. He couldn't let that stand.

After what felt like an eternity, Rick grabbed his gear and set out to find you. As he navigated the familiar paths, he replayed the argument in his mind, regretting his harsh words. He knew you were strong and capable, but the thought of you being out there alone gnawed at him.

When he finally found you by the brook, he stopped, taking in the sight of you. You looked so lost in thought, so vulnerable, and his heart ached with regret. He approached you slowly, not wanting to startle you.

"Y/N," he called softly. You looked up, surprise and a mix of emotions flickering across your face.
