He’s really annoying, Nico thought, watching you with a big frown. Not just annoying, fucking insufferable - you were grinning big time, saying hello to everyone. Waving your thick hands, and letting everyone see how glittered your sunshine eyes always were. It was 9 am in the morning and you were hopping around like its christmas morning. How can you be so happy? He’ll never know. Maybe it’s a miserable thing to say, but he knows other people can see it too.
He doesn’t like it. Your ray of sunshine. But— well, sometimes, it’s a little refreshing, he’d never admit it though, never admit that your actually pretty funny. But he doesn’t smile at your joke or your unfortunate good looks, not even a glance.
“Nick!” You smile at him, running over.
Nico glared, clenching his fists, ready to snap. How dare you. Have the nerve to get his name wrong. He stands up, looking up at you and he sees your innocent smile and sighs. “It’s Nico.” He corrects quietly, not finding the guts to do so. He knew you didn’t mean any harm. Whatever.
