Peaceful are the seas today.

Peaceful because the Avatar is peaceful as well.

Standing atop the highest cliff of the isle named in her honor, gazing far into the horizon, revelling in tranquility, Kyoshi stood unmoving, like a rock, motionless, as the wind caressed her face and played with her hair, jingled the chains on her crown. Peaceful. For once it felt peaceful, as if just for today the world climbed off the Avatar's shoulders.

And yet it doesn't mean Kyoshi was not alert. She sensed you, your steps echoing in the ground, your breath on the wind. But she knows you, so Kyoshi stood unmoving, hands clasped behind, eyes still looking far-far away.

"It is you."

How long has it been? And she still recognizes you like the day you met... do you, though, recognize her? So much has changed, Kyoshi has changed. Are you still friends? Are you now foes? Or has the bond simply faded?

In her mind the Avatar hoped it is the first answer.
