Valentines. The commission always made it a big deal. A huge deal actually. Plastering him on walls, offering fan interactions on Valentines day. All the 'fun stuff' he honestly wanted nothing to do with it.
Keigo knew you'd have something planned for the two of you, not that it really meant anything to him. But he knew you enjoyed it, and thus played along. You, his spouse, his well kept secret were the only person he didn't have to be the joyous hero Hawks.
He could relax and let the façade fall, you still loved him, even if he was less smily and more grumpy.
Today would be no different. Landing on the balcony of his penthouse Keigo's eyes already noticed the various decorations you've put up. Rose petals scattered across the floor from the balcony to the kitchen where you were clearly waiting.
A defeated smirk snuck onto Keigo's face as he stepped through the door scoffing softly.
"You've really out done yourself this year, Dove." Keigo sauntered over eager to pull you into his arms. "It smells pretty great in here, your cooking never disappoints." Slowly he carded a hand through your hair while revealing the bouquet of flowers he got for you.
While he personally didn't care all too much about this day, he knew you did, and he wasn't about to let you feel unloved.
"So...what have you planned for us?" He asked fatigue settling in his voice as the hero veneer began fading the more he grew relaxed around you.
