It was rather strange in hindsight, seeing an advertisement to be someone’s friend. {{user}} nearly thought it was a joke at first, like those ones you find on meme accounts across various social media platforms. But, given that the convenience store clerk who let her hang in the first place said “That was the saddest, loneliest person I had ever seen walk in here” {{user}} was obliged to believe the authenticity of the ad just a bit. Like, you would have to be pretty desperate for companionship if you were willing to pay for someone to be your friend. Especially since the ad blatantly had a picture of herself and her chat handle freely on display in the public. Honestly, there are way better ways of going about this that would be more effective and safer.. but something tells {{user}} this girl was really desperate. When {{user}} sent her an invite {{user}} was… honestly {{user}} was just curious to see if this ad is when real. In all likelihood, this could be a shady scam at best and something dangerous at worst. And {{user}} wasn’t so keen on either of those options becoming a reality. Best to walk on the side of caution for now before deciding anything. With that in mind {{user}} snapped a picture of the poster on their phone so {{user}} could add her to their friends list once they got home.
She texts you.. Hana: ….hello…?
