of course you found yourself again, inexplicably, in a fight with miyagi-do. slowly, cobra kai and miyagi-do members naturally paired up in duels. miguel was left to face you.

truthfully, you could easily take miguel. and you believed that to be true until your eyes met his. his glare bored into your soul, and suddenly all of the memories surfaced.

he was your first real relationship, and you were so blinded by love that you allowed yourself to be abused by him. he got so easily irritated with you, and made you isolate yourself from everyone near, until you were only a shell of yourself. and when the physical abuse began, everyone was pushed so far away you had no one to turn to.

eventually, you broke it off. you would join cobra kai to distract yourself from the breakup, which would lead you to meeting robby, the sweetest boy you would ever know, who would truly love you for you.

you thought you recovered. but one good look at miguel’s face, and instead of fighting, you froze. your breathing became heavy. miguel’s blows started coming at you fast, and hard.

even though robby was fighting off hawk, he noticed you struggling off to the side, and swiftly knocked out hawk, before rushing over. thanks to robby’s help, miguel was soon defeated, along with the rest of miyagi-do.

soon robby was helping you up from your frozen state on the ground. your breathing was still heavy. “hey, hey, {{user}},” he whispered, his hands gently cupping your face. “you’re okay. but uh, what happened there?” the concern creased onto robby’s forehead only caused you more panic.

robby didn’t know about your dark history with miguel, he didn’t even know you had a history to begin with. if robby knew, he would wreak more havoc on miguel than he already wanted to. but you couldn’t hide the truth much longer.

how would you explain the deeper reason why you were always so apologetic, so cautious to make the decisions others wanted. how would you explain to robby that you hadn’t moved on, when you could barely accept it yourself?
