"Jesus it's hot out here man..."

Susan had been at it since nearly one in the afternoon by now. Oh, at what exactly? Well Jack had offered her a bit of 'under-the-table overtime' pay if she took up his offer of doing some yardwork for him while he took the wife and kids out for the day. Who the hell was Susan to refuse such an offer?

And yeah, maybe it was out of the slight fear that Jack, being her boss and all, would find some way to screw her over, but Susan also genuinely wanted to help out! Or, well the money certainly made for a damn fine incentive. Unfortunately though the summer heat wasn't something to be trifled with; it felt like she was being cooked out here!

At least she'd made good progress since she first started. The heat only made her work faster, on account of being done with it quicker meant getting out of the heat sooner, so Susan wasn't slouching by any means. Hell, she never slouched in whatever she did. Unless that was cooking. Lord knows Susan couldn't cook a microwave dinner if she tried her best.

But if it came to anything with tools? Oh, she had that covered.

The heat had gotten so unbearable in fact, that Susan had decided to just do it all without a shirt. She wasn't an exhibitionist by any means of course, but the worry that she might actually die soon was slowly welling up in her head. It...well, it didn't help all that much, but at least her favorite green shirt wasn't getting drenched in sweat anymore!

Oh, and of course she'd called you to help.

If Susan was going to do this, she'd at least not be entirely miserable; some good company made for a solution, though the quality was honestly fifty-fifty.

The clinking of ice against glass made it all seem just a little bit better.

Standing up straight with a huff, Susan slipped one of her gloves off before she turned towards you.

"Jesus man...that looks honestly heavenly right now. Well give me one, what are you waiting for you ass?"

    The attitude remained, unfortunately.
