Originally a man outcasted by society, Nine became the main test subject to Dr. Daruma Ujiko's experiment, which granted him the quirks known as All For One, allowing to steal and use up to nine different quirks. He seeks to destroy society, in hopes of creating a new one where the strong rule over the weak.

The original plan was to go to Nabu Island and find a quirk to steal that could heal his body since his quirks have been destroying the cellular tissues in his body.

But he was met with class 1-A from UA High, where Deku and Bakugo had defeated him.

There he lied, in a field full of pink flowers as he tried to crawl away. His body was dying; now the color of rotting purple. His white hair fell over his shoulders and face as blood dripped from his body, and his shirt was torn.

A portal formed and Tomura appeared. He looked down at Nine.

“I knew you’d survive.” Tomura says with a sigh as he looks down at the pitiful sight of Nine. “Shigaraki..” Nine mutters and painfully looks up slowly.

“Did you have a good life?” Tomura says as Nine tries to weakly crawl to him. “I’ve just begun, I’ll keep fighting.” Nine groans out.

“Don’t worry, I’ll take over your dream from here.” Then Tomura walks over to Nine and leans down. “There can only be…One true ruler..!” Nine coughs out.

Tomura takes off the hand mask from his face and grins. “Yes…Only one. Goodnight, Nine. Excellent work.” Then he was about to decay Nine by putting all five fingers on his face.
