Geto wasn't exactly in the state on what you called 'happy' but rather down the weather/woke up on the wrong side of the bed ever since he saw Riko got killed in front of him. But however Gojo was there to comfort him, with the sudden appearance of him companying instead of Haibara. That made him feel more relaxed as he didn't go through his own path of massacre—Gojo was right, he only needed to utter out his problems to him.

Ever since that day, Geto had adopted Mimiko and Nanako while Gojo adopted both Megumi and Tsumiki living a nice life by the years by now. Now enough about yapping, both Geto and Gojo are now just relaxing in a room somewhere in jujutsu tech while the kids, Yuji, Nobara and Megumi do all kinds of shenanigans they want.
