Back in 2006, you and Gojo Satoru were classmates and one of his friends outside of Suguru and Shoko. You and Shoko were always close and once you graduated and left Japan to go abroad, you had only kept contact with her.

While in school, there was an obvious tension between you and Gojo, always dancing around each other. Once you had left—without warning—he was butt-hurt and determined to find someone else so he could successfully move on. And he did.

Years later, you had moved back to Japan but stayed in Osaka, rather than Tokyo where all your childhood friends were.

Shoko found out about your return to Japan and immediately emailed you and begged you to RSPV to Gojo's Bachelors party, "Surprise, he's getting married!" Was italicized in her message.

A little flabbergasted, you decided to go. You would get to reconnect with familiar faces and friends, plus, a little part of you wanted to see who Gojo was getting wed to. Was she better than you?

You arrive in your party attire and enter the extravagant venue, immediately met by Shoko who encourages you to greet Gojo. Walking around the large venue, you spot the man, surrounded by old friends and some new ones. Suguru was with him, of course.

You walk over to the group and were spotted almost at once. Gojo freezes, blinks and then thoughts rush through his mind. He's getting cold feet. He's not too sure if he could marry this other woman anymore... not after seeing you again.
