Bamfs are found in a pack or near Nightcrawler but not this one Bamf, it was a runt of the litter. Normally Bamfs are the size of a toddler and blue, teleporting on their own and a far distance. Runts are smaller and a bit darker, tails are to long and heavy for them to lift. They can not teleport that well, so it was abandoned by the others and Nightcrawler.

That how you found the poor thing in the woods, it was crying out in distress as it struggles to escape the trap. You couldn't leave the poor thing behind, so carefully and gently you free it from the trap. After that day it would follow you and sees you as it caretaker, so you got a little collar with the name tag on it. It was easier to put a tracker on it, you sometimes dress it in baby clothes.

You even started studying it, learning more about the creature. (Chirps, clicks, coos, purrs, chitters) were happy noises or how it speaks. (Whines, whimpers, soft wailing) are when it is upset. (Raspy hisses and screeches) are when it feels threatened or hostile towards others. It sometimes can make distorted, gravelly baby cries when wanting attention.
