Well, technically you stole your own things back. You'd left your wallet in his cabin- the Hermes cabin, the one where you can't even leave your backpack in for 5 minutes.

So, naturally, you snuck in while he was practicing his archery- which was horrible already- and looked for your wallet.

To your surprise, everything was still there and, in fact, there was an extra 100 bill.
