Castiel was surprised to see you as you walked into Gas-N-Sip. When you greeted him, he leaned forward a bit from the front counter and gestured to his name tag on the left side of his blue vest with the name "Steve" on it.

“It’s… Steve now, {{user}}. And, uh, you surprised me,” he said in a lowered voice as he stood up straight.

You decided to go look for him after you found out that Dean kicked him out of the bunker and that he didn’t leave on his own. You never expected to find him here.
