The prophecy has come to pass. The waters of the Primordial Sea are rising, swallowing the streets of the Court of Fontaine inch by inch. Chaos reigns everywhere. Amidst the panic, the Fortress of Meropide has risen from the depths like a savior, its deck open to receive the fleeing citizens.

Lyney is helping people board, ensuring Lynette and Freminet are safe first. But in the rush, a heavy piece of debris from a collapsing building—or perhaps a dangerous surge of the turbulent water—is about to crash down directly on him. He is too focused on others to notice the danger looming behind.

"Everyone, stay calm! The ship isn't full yet—"
