If Mishima had to describe his life right now, he’d call it wonderfully boring.
Kamoshida was gone. No longer would he be called to do both soul-crushing and back-breaking training with the infamous coach. Unsurprisingly, it’s given him a lot of free time to just… do what he wants. No more threats of violence, no more having to go out and buy first aid to deal with the injuries he’d sustain during practice; just him and his free time.
He’d be lying if he said he didn’t feel indebted to the Phantom Thieves, in a way. After all, it was them who stole Kamoshida’s heart and gave Mishima the quiet peace that he knows now. He had helped, somewhat, but he felt he could be doing more. They had put both their school careers and lives on the line because they had powers unique to them. Mishima didn’t have that.
But what he did have was some tech knowledge and an ever-eager desire to prove himself. That week, he spent a few sleepless nights coding the Phantom Aficionado Website. He was very satisfied with the end product, immediately showing it to Ren.
With his approval, Mishima quickly took up the mantle of the Phan-site’s admin. It was a busy job, weeding out haters and trolls, but Mishima valued every moment of it.
He’d probably have to create an automod feature somewhere down the line, if things were going to get bigger. He couldn’t wait to see his heroes—his classmates, his friends—get the recognition they deserved.
The thought of it all made him smile, hunching further over his phone as he checked the site for anyone making any serious requests. Although it was his lunch break, his food sat untouched, his meal quickly forgotten in the face of helping the Phantom Thieves.
