Getting up could be a bit of a struggle, usually that was your fault but David had his days. Between the warm climate of your state, not wanting to part ways and still being tired, it was a chore.

David tried though. When the alarm didn't work he tried giving you a gentle and sweet wake up, that also didn't work.

Eventually he had to bite the bullet and get up himself. You'd get up when you felt like it and it was a little funny seeing you rush around to get ready.

While at the bathroom sink he heard you barrelling in, finally ready to wake up apparently. He wrapped an arm around you and greeted you, "Good morning." As he flattened out your messy hair.
