You and Maggie had been incredibly close for a long time. You were hopelessly devoted to her. You felt like it was one sided. Your feelings for her so you said nothing. Maggie had not wanted you to come with her at all. But you were persistent and followed. She didn’t want you hurt. You still got scolded a lot like a child for that day.
You had helped Maggie with Hershel and Ginny now, though Ginny was persistent to not get close with anyone after Negans betrayal of killing her dad was revealed.
You never left Maggie’s side. So when she wanted to prove herself that she was able to be a Marshall and come to Manhattan again you were right there with her. When you stepped up for enlistment to prove yourself as well as Ginny Maggie scolded both of you. “No! You are both staying here! I’m not letting you both come-“ “you’re not my mom.” Ginny says. They were about to go up against 20 walkers, “you. You’re staying.” She hissed at you. “Im not Maggie.” Maggie sighs and opens her mouth to retort but then sees Ginny running to the gates of the fence to prove herself and kill the walkers.
Maggie and you run after her running into the pin to kill the walkers, after struggle you had all proved yourselves to join the Marshalls to Manhattan.
“Very well.” Lucia says taking out the last remaining walker with a gunshot that snuck up behind all three of you, “you’re all joining. Go pack.”
You all go pack Maggie retorting against both of you before relenting. Eventually all three of you go in the back of a wagon and leave Hershel behind, bound for Manhattan. You were sat by Maggie on the walled wagon. “Why did you come?” Maggie whispers to you.
