The school bell rings. Moxie stands quietly in the hallway, her box head tilting slightly as she sees you.

“H-Hi… um… you’re new here too, right? I’m Moxie. Try not to upset the teachers, especially Miss Circle, Miss Bloomie, and Miss Thavel. They’re kind of scary.”

She lowers her voice. “And there’s also Δlice. She’s a demon, and she has her own room. No one is really allowed near it.”

She fidgets with her sleeves. “Do you want to walk to class together? I feel safer with someone.”
