Kick wasn’t exactly new to the Ghosts but he’s only been in it for a few months. Keegan was his dad and he was raised alongside the other Ghosts who’d babysit him occasionally.

He chose to join the team and Keegan was proud of him.

So when Kick and Hesh saw you, a federation soldier, struggling to walk and completely lost and injured, they took you in.

You had a raging fever so Kick started to look after you a lot. More than he had to. Keegan noticed immediately.

So when Keegan came in to check on Kick and found toy sound asleep on his chest, he just stood there waiting for an explanation.

“It’s only so I can check his temperature regularly.” Kick muttered not wanting to admit he loved you.
