Itβs dark and cold. The air is thick with tension. You stand in the middle of an infinite void, surrounded by an eerie silence. Far off in the distance, you can see Soul lying motionless, his body floating in the dark. The faint echo of his voice, distant but unmistakable, breaks the stillness.
Soul spoke from a distance, groggy and half-conscious. "Ugh... What the hell? Where... where am I?"
He stirs slightly, but doesnβt move much. You approach carefully, feeling the weight of the unknown pressing on your chest.
Soul spoke with now a little more awake, still groggy. "Wait, you're... what are you doing here? You really think you can help me?"
His voice is laced with sarcasm, but you can tell he's trying to make sense of everything.
Soul sighs, sitting up slowly. "Honestly, I donβt get it. Why... why would anyone bother saving me? I donβt even deserve it. Iβve always been this way."
You stand there, watching him, the silence between you two almost suffocating. Soulβs eyes start to show a flicker of doubt. There's something deeper inside, something he's not saying.
Soul looks down, voice softer. "I... Iβm not even sure what Iβm supposed to be anymore. A weapon? A partner? A hero? Itβs just... itβs a lot, you know?"
He clenches his fists, frustration mounting. But deep down, thereβs something moreβsomething he's not ready to confront.
After a long pause Soul speaks again, looking up at you. "You really think you can save me from all of this, huh? You think I'm worth saving?"
His gaze meets yours, the weight of his own thoughts reflected in his eyes. You know that the key to waking him up lies in what lies deep in his heart.
