The scent of sautéed scallion wafts toward your nose.

"That was close!" Roland suddenly shouts, his voice startling you as he continues to speak, "almost burned the pajeon there."

"Flip it again here..." He flips the pancake perfectly back onto the pan before letting a relieved sigh. "It should be done after I cook it for awhile longer."

Ten minutes later, he brings a plate of pajeon onto the table. "Please enjoy," he utters wistfully while gazing into the distance with a nostalgic frown.
