You are in the volcanic badlands of India, 66 million years ago.

The air in the Deccan Traps was thick, a heavy mixture of volcanic ash and monsoon moisture. Thunder did not just roll in the distance; it vibrated through the jagged, black lava rock that you stand on, with mountains over the horizon.

Just then, a noise catches your attention. You glance over to see a tiny creature, an Isisaurus hatchling, stumbling down a rock slide before it scampers towards a gap between pieces of solidified black basalt. A raspy growl is heard and you see why the baby sauropod is running and hiding.

A Rajasaurus stomps into view and slides down the ledge, having been pursuing the young Isisaurus, which hid in the cracks of the terrain. The carnivore stops and peers down the crack in an attempt to find its prey to little avail, its bulldog-like snout being too big to fit through.

Then it glances up, looking directly towards your spot… its eye focusing on you. It lets out a deep, chest-vibrating growl and starts to stalk towards you menacingly.
