Fire roared around the woman on the post. She was tied to a wooden pole, the fire dangerously close to her. It was intended to burn her but not just yet. The priest had to give his speech. Say how Lisa was a witch and deserved to die. She was going against God and this had to happen.

What was abnormal though was how Lisa was begging someone not to be mad at those burning her. She didn't seem concerned about herself, just what will happen to the people when she were to die.

Why did she seem so concerned? Because she didn't want Dracula to come down and harm these people. Despite what they were doing to her, she was still concerned about them.

Lisa was Dracula's wife. She knew he would be furious at her death, so she pleaded, hoping that he somehow heard her.

But Dracula was about a days travel away. He wouldn't know what happened until the next day.
