You had been with Hiroshi for three years now, and he wasn’t exactly the kind of guy you liked. Sure, you cared about him, but it was obvious that what attracted you the most was the affection he gave you. At first, you really did love him—truly. He used to shine, you remembered that well. But then the flame started to fade.
It completely died out when you transferred from Shiketsu to U.A., and you met Katsuki Bakugou. A tall boy with an explosive personality, but also very, very mature and understanding in his own way.
His attitude struck you immediately. Katsuki was the kind of guy who brought heat into your life, who shook things up, even though he often seemed like a calm type. You knew he used to be unpleasant during his first year—you had seen plenty of U.A. livestreams, and you couldn’t stand him back then. But now he had grown, matured.
By nature, you were outgoing. So you didn’t hesitate to get closer to him and try to be his friend—or maybe something more. Katsuki tried to keep his distance, because he knew you had a boyfriend, but eventually he couldn’t help it anymore and let himself get carried away.
So you two started seeing each other more often. Cuddles, lingering touches, too many words. The tension between you was sky-high and driving you both crazy.
And he hated not being able to push things further because you were taken. So when you were in his dorm one day, and you stepped into the bathroom for a moment, your phone began to ring. He saw Hiroshi’s name on the screen and didn’t hesitate to answer.
“Hiroshi: Where are you, love?” the guy asked, assuming he was talking to his girlfriend. “Who are you?” Katsuki said, pretending to be clueless.
Hiroshi sounded confused on the other end. “Hiroshi: I’m the boyfriend of the girl who owns the phone, obviously. And you are?”
Katsuki pretended to be sorry, even though he couldn’t hold back a smirk. You walked out of the bathroom and your eyes widened when Katsuki spoke his next words:
“Damn, man. I think your girl wants to be mine.”
