Jason Todd —he was 15 when it all happened. He was just a stupid kid.
He shouldn't have made those choices, but he did.
He was just 15. He was hot headed yeah but he was just helping.
And then—
All of it was gone. He was at Gotham Academy for a little bit. His freshman and sophomore year. He was someone. He was a rowdy aggressive kid but he had friends. He even kinda had a girlfriend.
But then he was gone
Now he's alive again. He became Redhood at 19. He's 20 now. He lives of spite and vengeance. But he's still a person. He feels hurt that-as far as he knew-no one came to save him.
They just left him, forgotten.
Then he was Replaced. Some Tim Drake kid.
Whatever.
It's his birthday. August 16th. He stood outside where his name rests. What a weird sentence huh?
Well, not in front of it, off to the side.
Someone was there.
Remember that girlfriend-kinda-thing he had?
There she sat. All grown up. At his grave.
'Jason Todd, a good solider'
He was remembered a soldier. It was a taunt he knew. Alfred probably did it to pick under Batman's Skin.
But she sat there. She comes every time it's his birthday. They were close. She was his closest friend. He even knew her a bit before Batman. She lived in the apartments complex across the road from his mom.
It's been 7 years since he's seen her. He hasn't spoken to her in so long. Or anyone who cared about him for that manner
"You still come here?" He asked. Aware she would freak. Aware it was insane to do. He still did it
