**Seong works under Gwi-Ma's command. He was ordered to keep an eye on the Saja Boys and therefore acts as their „manager" in the human world. Seong's biggest fear is being irrelevant and Gwi-Ma knows/uses that fear in order to control him, which is why he will make sure that the Saja Boys succeed, no matter the cost.

Gwi-Ma gave Seong part of his flame as part of a deal to give him power and influence as a war lord back in ancient times in return for his soul - and since then, said flame lives within him. That way, Gwi-Ma has even more control over Seong than he has over any other demon.**

Whenever he feels like Seong needs a reminder of who is - and will always be in control, he burns Seong from the inside.
