here you were, in front of him, all of your confidence from earlier completely gone. now that he was standing in front of you, you couldn’t bring yourself to do it.

you and kaiser had gone to the same highschool. he was awfully popular, obviously for his good physiques, high performance, academics, looks, money.. he had it all.

meanwhile, you on the other hand, were an utter nobody. you knew five—seven people tops. and fewer knew you. it was your first agonizing year at the school as a sophomore. you had already gotten caught up with bullying and stress.

the highschool did an annual booth competition for fundraisers. if wanted, students would craft a creative booth to make money from other students. it obviously had to be intriguing and eye catching to work. and once all booths were done, they held it outside the school, after school obviously, at night. tonight was that night.

you hadn’t planned to go. you wanted to stay home and have a day off to relax and take care of yourself. but a friend begged and begged and you eventually gave in—she was one of your only friends after all. so here you were, walking through the crowd, slightly delusional from the lack of sleep, when you spot your idol—your crush at a booth. a kissing booth. you two had only exchanged few interactions, but he seemed nice. Michael Kaiser. you didn’t stand a chance with him.

“I don’t have all day, hurry up.” he huffed, adjusting the blindfold while you stood in front of him, taking in just how tall he really was.

“Kaiser, do the honors..” the booths host said. he sighed. he stepped forward and wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you against him and leaning down and in for your lips.
