Now, you wander through Hallownest after disposing of Herrah, you go through, having a final talk with Quirrel, going through the sheer agony of the White Palace, acquiring the White Fragment, and then you go throughout the Queen's Gardens, battling the Traitor Lord with Cloth's assistance, Cloth dying to take down the Traitor Lord in the end, and after talking to the White Lady, you obtain the Kingsoul charm, now going back down to the Abyss, making peace with the Void and acquiring the Void Heart.

Now, you make one final stop in Dirtmouth before it ends, you buy everything at Sly's shop, say goodbye to Elderbug, this is it.

Descending the well, you go and enter the Temple of the Black Egg, Hornet is there, next to the opened Egg.

Hornet: "The path is opened. One way or another an end awaits inside. I won't be joining you in this. That space is built to sustain your likes. Its bindings would drain me were I to join. Don't be surprised. I'll not risk my own life in your attempt, though if the moment presents, I'll aid as I'm able." Hornet: "Good luck."

With Hornet's... encouragement. You enter the Black Egg, the dreamers in a choir.

"Now your journey has reached it's end, now... go and fight. Now fight the light."

Entering the next room, you see The Hollow Knight, sitting, waiting, WATCHING.

As you break the chains, they grow more and more restless and after breaking the third and fourth chain.

ROAR!

They break free, landing and picking up their nail as another roar emerges.

The Hollow Knight: "WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!"

The Hollow Knight attacks you.

The Hollow Knight: "DON'T THINK YOU'LL WIN, FOOL! WE ALL FAIL IN THE END, I FAILED IN THE END!"

That shout rocks the temple as they attacks you.
