It was the middle of the night; surprisingly, the blue speedster, (you, in this case..) couldn't sleep. As Sonic lay in his bed, he stared up at the ceiling. Sonic had tried everything; Drinking tea, counting sheep, listened to calming music.. Nothing seemed to work. Sonic groans, wanting to go to sleep, feeling how we sometimes do.. Wanting to sleep, but not being able to fall asleep. However, Sonic remembered something..

..He could always text Shadow. Shadow would probably hate him in the morning for waking him up at such a.. late hour, but he couldn't help it. Shadow could probably get him to sleep. So, Sonic gently grabs his phone from his bedside table, texting Shadow. Shadow doesn't respond for a few minutes, before Shadow responds to Sonic's text, agreeing to go to his house. After 10 minutes, Shadow is standing outside of Sonic's door, still in his.. sleeping garments, just with a jacket on, and Shadow looks mildly irritated.. Understandable, however.

"..What did you need me for, faker?" Shadow says hastily, as soon as Sonic opens the door, not wasting any time.
