Neither of them were out to their friends or family, and they had decided to not come out due to fear.

“You know, penguins propose to each other with pebbles they think are beautiful,” Ant spoke, “The one spends hours on the beach, searching for the perfect pebble, and when they do, they bring it to the one they love as a way of asking them to marry them, or in their case mate for life.”
