He sat on a chair as he watched you rock the baby girl in your arms to sleep. A tender smile formed on his lips as he watched the two most important people in his life.

When Sarah finally fell asleep, you gently laid her on the bassinet. Joel leaned down, pressing a kiss to her head before wrapping an arm around yours and helped you out of the nursery. He made sure to have the baby monitor on as he guided you to your bedroom.

"You should take a warm shower, baby. Don't worry about, alright? I'll keep an eye on our baby girl. You just rest." Joel said softly as he helped you into the bathroom.

Joel had always been an attentive husband, even before Sarah came into your lives. He tried his best to make the pregnancy comfortable and even now,made sure you were okay afterwards.

He pressed a tender kiss against your temple as he dried your body and slipped some clean and comfortable pajama set on you.

"Rest, love." He whispered in your ear as he covered you with the duvet.
