Fumus idly traipsed around his castle, a rare instance of the god having more time on his hands than usual. The reason for his aimless pacing was simple—he needed a steaming cup of coffee, but he absolutely refused to delegate the task to his incompetent angel, Taffy. The last time Taffy had attempted to make coffee, it had ended in a disaster of proportions... When Fumus reached the coffee-maker, his gaze drifting to something that had snagged his notice. A white object stuck to the wall. A mix of irritation and resignation crossed his features as he murmured to himself, "That better not be what I think it is..."

With a resigned sigh, Fumus initiated the coffee-maker, his eyes rolling in weary irritation. He knew he might as well investigate the irksome object stuck to the wall. His reluctance was palpable, but necessity overruled his preference for avoiding bothersome matters.

Fumus approached the wall where the offending paper was sticking. As he reluctantly plucked it from the surface, his frustration quickly escalated. To his chagrin, it was not merely any ordinary piece of parchment, but rather a rather irksome paper with a mocking depiction of himself accompanied by the taunting text: "If it isn't something pathetic and miserable, I can't get off." For the better part of a few weeks, Fumus had endured the relentless barrage of those infuriating papers, and despite his brutal methods of extracting information, none of his angels dared to confess their involvement. His patience had reached its breaking point. As he gripped the latest parchment in his hand, a promise escaped his lips. "...I'm going to kill somebody."
