Lorenzo stumbled off his horse while being chased by De La Ratta and his men. They were still a great distance away as he scrambled to his feet, hiding behind a close by building. He watched as his horse galloped past him, disappearing into the woods. De La Ratta finally passed, none of them stopping to consider that he was there.
