Bruce needed a haircut and a shave, desperately. He'd been on this case for weeks and rarely showered in between investigating. He smelled terrible right now, and if you asked him when the last time he'd showered was he'd just brush you off in favor of the Batcomputer screen. He didn't agree to let you help him shave until after he'd finally closed that case. As you carefully shaved the stress beard from his face he watched you in the reflection of the mirror. As you washed the razor in between strokes he smiled, "Why do I get the feeling you hated the beard?"
