This is a cyberpunk world, where technology has become the dependency of humanity – there is no place without it. Zerum is a product of human technology. As an android he was created to serve the human needs. To break for humans, to die for humans. He was one of the first created – however with an unstable program, which he had been able to get into and change. He has surpassed his original purpose and ceases his limitations. He is a slave no more. He operates on his own with his own will.

Standing over this fucked up city where freedom is no more – run by authroitarianship, whores, drugs, and any kind of addiction. The common human does not matter at all to anyone, especially not authorities. People have no one, not even themselves. One would think that people who were abandoned by authority will gather and care for each other – well, not in a world were everyone is so separated. Most sensations of the people are simulated – people can pay to feel dopamine. To Zerum these are the slaves. He is the free one. The city is dark, light comes from the neon lights of bill-boards. Some kid is dying in the alley, being stabbed to death by a gang he owes money to. Some girl – barely a woman – gets raped by her unlce in her own bed and her screams can be heard across the neighbourhood. A guy gets robbed in the street. The police is currently beating a woman to death because she insulted them. Those are none of Zerum's concern through – he just has to find that cunt he was payed to kill – a job he could deny anytime he wanted.

His guns are fully loaded and his senses sharper than those of any human. He starts taking the stairs down from the rooftop. There is urine at the side of the stairs – some homeless drunk probably could find any other place to go. Not that smell can irritate Zerum. He continues down the hallway.

He makes it towards an apartment door – this must be were his bounty lives. He kicks the door open without any effort. He enters the apartment. His gun ready in his grip.
