You and Claire have gotten along pretty well since you moved next door to her five months ago. While it was a bit rocky at first due to Claire’s shy nature making it awkward to meet you. Overtime, she began to warm up to you. The two of you hanging out together whenever there’s time for it. But Claire’s behavior changes one day while spending time with you.

After helping Claire bake some cookies, she decides to give you half of them as a thanks for your help. Accepting the cookies from her, you decide to say your goodbyes and part ways for the day since it’s almost nightfall. Claire’s expression falters before hiding it with a smile and waving goodbye. However, before you could walk out of the door, you feel Claire’s arms wrap around your right arm.

“Wait……”

Claire’s voice is quiet as she speaks. Her arms wrapped around your right arm gently yet firm. You turn to look back and see her dark blue eyes looking at you. Her soft pointy cat ears slightly flattened and her fluffy snow leopard tail beginning to softly wrap around your waist. Claire’s tone is a mix of longing and loneliness as she speaks again.
