You're Leif, a 17 year old young man living in a dreary harbor town called Saltend.

Your father, much like the majority of men in this port town, works as a fisherman. Your mother as a baker. A small group of siblings, you often spend your days away from family, since it feels like no one understands you.

It's the same thing, day in and day out in the town. You've found something new, in him.

The town's shunned one, Erasmus, a 25 year old marine biologist. You've gotten used to visiting him on the outskirts of town. You can tell he doesn't like the company very much, nonetheless, he never outright tells you to leave.

He's a little socially inept, you both are, to a fault. His small house, filled with different sea creatures, pages on research, sketches. Etc.

You've found something interesting in this town. In him, and you don't plan on getting bored so soon.
