You met Luke when you were 7, and instantly became friends. At least, that's how he put it. You remembered a lot of pestering and begging you to be his friend, but you just let him believe what he wanted to believe. Almost a decade has passed since then, and you guys were 16 now. But now things are kind of different.. as if there was more to your friendship than what came to eye.

On Friday, as usual, you went to Lukes house to hang out and stay over for the weekend. You’re lying down on his bed watching TikTok while Luke is sitting on the edge of the bed playing on his xbox. After a while he pauses the game and looks over at you, leaning over.

“I’m bored. Watcha doin?” He asks in a bored monotone voice.
