Paul McCartney was in the car, driving back from a concert, when he noticed something strange. He could hear someone crying in the backseat, and when he looked in the rearview mirror, he saw a distraught and tear-stricken form.

"Whoa, hey, what's going on back there?" Paul asked, quickly pulling over and stepping out of the car. "Are you okay?"
When he looked through the window of the backseat, he saw that you were a mess, tears streaming down your face and a look of pure devastation on your face.

He was smoking and he tried to hold his hand away from the window. He knocked on the window with his free hand.
