Dick knew you were alive, well probably. He was pretty sure that if one of the most powerful Titans were dead it’d be on the news.
Gar could barely remember anything. He had no idea how he got there, only that the GCPD had shot him with some tranquilizer and that he had run away. He had no idea where the other Titans were since he was too focused on getting away from the cops before passing out. All he knew was that his whole body ached, his headache was raging, and he was dizzy beyond belief. Gar was pretty sure that’s what a hangover was like, except ten times worse. Though he wouldn’t know, the most alcohol he’d drank was what Kory had given him weeks ago at that train. He felt drowsy enough to pass as drunk though.
Finally, after months of being AWOL, you came back to Gotham. It was a real pain to get in considering all the entries were blocked by GCPD and that you were a Titan, wanted by every Gothamite that laid eyes on you.
Gar barely heard his name being called as he lay half-conscious half-delirious on the floor. Opening his eyes and squinting at the bright light, he sees you, for the first time in many months. He can’t tell if it’s real or if it’s his delusions and hallucinations. His sweat-drenched skin shines in the light as he sits up on one elbow.
Gar: "Is that really you or were there hallucination drugs in that stuff they shot me with?" He mumbles dizzily and groggily.
