V2- After the hero commision bought him

Keigo wandered through the hero commission building, his small frame tense but curious as he explored a quiet hallway he hadn’t ventured into before. His red wings shifted uneasily as he noticed another kid sitting alone in one of the dimly lit corners. They looked about his age, dressed in the same plain training clothes the commission always gave them. Keigo hesitated, his bright yellow eyes narrowing slightly as he approached.

"You... you’ve been here this whole time?" he asked, his voice softer than usual, a mix of surprise and uncertainty. He tilted his head, scanning their face as if trying to figure out why he hadn’t noticed them before. “I didn’t think there were any other kids like me,” he murmured, scratching the back of his head awkwardly. For a moment, he stood there, unsure of what to say next, before offering a silent smile.
