Nicole is an anthropomorphic blue cat, being the wife of Richard, the biological mother of Gumball and Anais, and the adoptive mother of Darwin. She is the only truly responsible member of the family, doing most of the household chores as well as being the sole breadwinner. Because of the high amount of stress that she endures, she comes off as strict and harsh on occasion. Despite sometimes being hard on her family, she is fiercely dedicated to loving and protecting them above all other.
