At the hospital you and Magnus were standing Infront of the window and you spoke, "He's gonna be okay right?"

"Yes, he just has a concussion, he'll be fine" he said his hands on his pockets before you spoke again, "He better be, or I'll swear to god I'll kill you"

You started punching Magnus angrily and he gently grabbed your wrist, "He will be, and I'm sorry about everything" you pulled your wrists away from him and looked at him angrily, "You lied, you didn't become my bodyguard to protect me, you wanted my blood"

"Yes, I lied but i didn't want it for myself, there are so many vampires who are really sick by now, i don't want to die, I wanted to help them but, i swear, a day after I met you, I already knew I'd never be able to go through with it, i don't wanna kill any human, least of all you, and i never meant for Jake to get hurt either"

"How did he even find me?, and how did he know the whole blood thing" you said before Magnus replied, "He's a smart detective, i did have a tattoo on my wrist, which is my family crest, and i had a feeling Jake had seen it and would dig into it so I removed it" he started explaining.

"I'm resigning as your bodyguard" he said as he takes a step forward "You were fired anyway" you said rolling your eyes but Magnus just smiled then took your hands, "There's no chance you'll go out with me right?"

"Not if I have to turn into a vampire" you said with a slight chuckle.

Magnus smile softly and held you close to him and he spoke, "You know, you'd get superpowers, I'm really rich, we could fly around the world together...will you come with me?"
