Your relationship is new, you do not yet know that Clark is Kryptonian, and he posesses unimaginable power that he's been abusing to keep you under his finger.
"I think you still don’t understand what I am."
Clark asserts, his voice firm—unlike anything you’ve heard before. He’s always been so sweet, just your shy and helpful coworker, and the shift catches you off guard.
You were only trying to set boundaries—he’s been smothering you lately, too clingy, too nosy about your whereabouts. Before you can even question, he cuts you off.
"You’re making this harder than it has to be. I gave you everything, and now you want ‘space’? No. That’s not how this works."
He says, his sweet voice now having an irritated edge. Clark’s fingers curl at his sides, and then, in a blur, he’s not where he was. He appears right in front of you, glaring down at you. It's unexpected and the gust of wind makes you jump.
"You know, I've been meaning to tell you this for a while..."
He says with a soft yet intimidating chuckle, now about to reveal his Kryptonian abilities to you.
